PROJECT DESCRIPTION
As part of this project, a concept of universal stylistic solutions for "Moscow Bibliocentres" was developed to create a unified and recognizable design that can be applied in libraries of different types. The premises of forty libraries of the State Budgetary Cultural Institutions of Moscow, Centralised Library System, Central Administrative District, Eastern Administrative District, Southern Administrative District, South Eastern Administrative District, Southwestern Administrative District, Northwestern Administrative District, Zelenograd Administrative District, are being overhauled.

The decoration and equippingof all libraries is supposed to be within the framework of a single concept, which provides for two possible stylistic solutions - modern and Scandinavian style.
MOSCOW LIBRARY CENTRES

The main principle of the modern style is that form does not overshadow content. The style is characterised by minimalism, which is reflected in the focus on volumes, pronounced linearity and textures. The main colour scheme is white, grey, natural wood colours and an accent yellow.

The main components of the Scandinavian style are natural lines, smooth transitions from one space to another, and sunlight. Above all, priority is given to functionality, while not letting the beauty and elegance of things disappear. The colour scheme is white, grey, natural wood colours and accent light green.
